Everybody knows that drinking alcohol can give a hangover, but you should be able to tell the exact cause of the hangover. Drinking alcohol can have positive effects as well as negatives such as the hangover. While some doctors would suggest that drinking alcohol is beneficial, other doctors will disagree with the idea. There is really nothing wrong with drinking liquor as long as you drink moderately. This will also prevent you from getting a hangover.

Vodka or beer may cause a hangover but not so much as whiskey, wine and bourbon. You will actually feel a bit relaxed if you take a little of these types of beverages; it is drinking too much that will make you experience a hangover. Although the exact cause of hangover is not generally known, studies reveal that the headache we experience during a hangover is due to dehydration. When you drink too much, you sill be urinating more often. So, if drinking alcohol is your daily habit, you will constantly be dehydrated, which is not good.

You need to cleanse your body of the alcohol and the best method would be to do plenty of physical exercises in order to sweat it out. You have to deal with the alcohol that is lingering inside your body. No matter how awkward you feel about getting up during a hangover, you must do so because you will certainly feel better through movement of your body. To cleanse your body of alcohol, you'll need to perspire. The remaining toxins will be dispensed through sweating and you'll get back to your normal self. You can either do some exercises or engage in sexual activity so as to stimulate your body to emit heat which the alcohol toxins will not be able to tolerate inside. You should likewise take food first because the meal will facilitate easy digestion of the alcohol that you will be drinking. You can also try eating fatty food and cheese,or drinking plenty of water, or even oil. But if you drink moderately, then you are unlikely to suffer from a hangover.

If you really need a drink, then you probably should go ahead with beer because it can be digested easily by your stomach. Always keep in mind that drinking liquor or any alcohol beverages can lead to dehydration. Because practically all types of alcohol drinks are diuretic, the body is prone to dehydration such that it is advisable to drink several glasses of water in order to replenish the amount of water that was lost because of frequent urination. It is a fact that the best prevention to dehydration is to drink sufficient amount of water. You'd probably promise yourself to never drink liquor again, if only to avoid the hangover. On the other hand, you are most likely to break this promise and be tempted to indulge in drinking hard liquor.

Hangover is a very unpleasant experience after drinking too much alcohol. You will be suffering with the hangover when you wake up. You will feel dizzy and uncomfortable and with an upset stomach. This situation will likely prompt you to promise never to drink liquor again, so you won't experience the hangover. However, there will still be occasions that you won't be able to control yourself from drinking too much alcohol.
